I took this photograph outside this really cool indoor flea market in New York City during my 10th wedding anniversary trip with my husband. The twist was that all of the merchandise was created by craftsman and artisians. Even the food court had interesting and beautiful things. This is the photograph I have hanging in my own home on the first wall you see when you walk through the door. Red is obviously the main color of the building in the photo, and I don't have a lot of red in my decor, but I loved the photo because of the memory of such a fun, easy going day. To tie in some of the other colors in my decor, I decided to incorporate some tiny elements from my favorite paintings as an overlay on this photograph, sort of like a digital collage. I love the way it turned out!
